Requests for Help
Offers of Assistance
With the UK’s response to the Coronavirus outbreak being constantly reviewed, it is highly likely that our village communities will continue to see the effects of the measures the Government has put in place to slow down the spread of the virus.
If you live in Catbrook and the surrounding hamlets and find yourself affected by the virus, isolated or unable to get out to collect food or medicines as well as carry on with everyday tasks, we are here to help. Whilst many have the support of friends, neighbours and family, others may not and Catbrook and District Memorial Hall can provide a valuable service to enable people to ask for help or assistance if needed.
If you are experiencing difficulties due to the Coronavirus and need help please click on the 'Need Help' button. This will open an email where you can provide more details. All information will be treated in confidence. If you do not have access to email you can telephone 01291 689474 and we will help out as best we can.
WILLING TO VOLUNTEER?
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to collect prescriptions, go shopping, keep in touch or generally help those in need or in isolation. If you are able to volunteer, please click on the 'Volunteer' button and provide your contact details, which services you can help with and in which locations e.g. Catbrook, Whitelye, Broadstone, Parkhouse, Cicelyford etc.
We are very grateful to everyone who has been able to offer, we know this is a worrying time for everyone. As we receive both requests for assistance and volunteer details we co-ordinate the appropriate response. We also liaise with local GP surgeries when this is necessary.
Many local shops and suppliers are now offering delivery services. Please click on the button for all the details.
