In September 2018 local author Matthew Hall, writer of Keeping Faith and The Coroner series of books, spent an evening at the hall being interviewed by Catbrook resident and good friend, Richard Cobourne and chatting to two of the cast members from the TV adaptation of Keeping Faith. Luckily he brought plenty of books to sign and sell!
